Bruce Rauner was inaugurated as the new Illinois Governor last night Monday, January 12th, and he carried on in true country fashion!

Rather than holding the traditional black tie ball, which Rauner described as “stuffy”, he held a concert featuring our very own Toby Keith along with blues legend Buddy Guy and cover band The Boat Drink Caucus.

Rauner spun his wife, Diana, around the stage to Toby Keith’s live performance of “You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like This” after the inauguration. The $125 ticket price to the special show included food as well as a fully stocked bar.
